Dr. Stephanie grew up in Plain City, Ohio where her love for horses started at a young age. She spent her summers at the track learning from her grandfather how to groom, jog and train Standardbred racehorses. While attending Otterbein University for a degree in Equine Business and Facility Management, she trained racehorses owned by her family and even drove in some races.
Dr. Stephanie attended The Ohio State University College of Veterinary medicine and graduated as a member of the class of 2020. She spent 14 months in Pennsylvania working at Hanover Shoe Farms, harness racing’s leading breeding farm, as a farm veterinarian before moving back to Ohio and working on performance and pleasure horses. In her spare time, Dr. Stephanie enjoys watching primetime crime and medical dramas, rooting on The Buckeyes and Bengals, reading, and following horse racing. She also loves cuddling with her many dogs and cats. |
